New Exhibition - Childrens' toys, Games and Clothes
A celebration of toys, games, clothes and other childhood memories. Exhibition opens on Tuesday 9th July.

New Exhibition - Nairn. How A Town Grows
The story of Nairn's growth as told in maps and
photographs.

The exhibition opens on Thursday 23rd May and will run from 10am to 4:30pm weekdays and 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.

McDermotts at Ardersier.
A celebration of the oil boom years.

The exhibition featured a detailed model of the NW Hutton rig made at McDermotts for Amoco in 1981. The rig was in use in the NW Hutton field until 2003.

The model was gifted to museum by Don Wright of Forres.

Coronach - ‘A Kist of Whistles’
The Coronach recorder consort (dir. James Ross)
perform Renaissance music for five and six recorders by Hassler, Holborne, and Brade.

At Nairn Museum, Sunday 1st December 2013 at 3pm. Tickets £10 (Inc glass of wine).

Ancient Crafts - A series of workshops exploring textile crafts and archaeology
This course (run by Lynne McKeggie) of ARCH will consist of a series of workshops, looking at different ancient textile crafts.

In each workshop participants will learn how to do the craft and work towards making an item which they will be able to take home with them.

The courses run on consecutive Saturdays from the 9th - 30th of November.

The Great Tapestry Of Scotland
On May 18th, the Nairn contribution to the Great Tapestry of Scotland was on display at Nairn Museum before it moved to the Parliament Building at Holyrood.
