Military Room

This room focuses on the military history linked with the people of Nairnshire. The Battles of Auldearn and Culloden are highlighted, along with two local winners of the V.C. and how the World Wars affected the local people. The Civilian Services are also recognised - the local nurses in World War 1 and the Home Guard in World War 2. This room was recently completely revamped  and now displays an impressive weapons collection, new and interesting artefacts and Nairnshire's military history is well told in easy to read information panels.
